My cousin uses autism as an excuse

My(f26) cousin (trans f to m 21) is incredibly irresponsible for a multitude of reasons I will attempt to list below enjoy the chaos that is my life

For additional context my aunt took care of special needs children as a parapro and cousin claims to be high functioning autistic , my brother is 100% diagnosed autistic now not too be controversial but I do not for a second believe my aunt or my cousin when they say my cousins autistic based on my experience with my brother ((don't really know if this is important context or if I have enough but here ya go ))

\~ started college 2hrs away from cousins hometown to my hometown a few years ago (wouldn't be a problem if they didn't refuse to get a job here and keep the one they have 2hrs away) (I will refer to my town as apartment and their town as their house for simplicity)

\~ constantly complains about the cost of gas, groceries, anything while still refusing to get a job here

\~ has two vehicles (a motorcycle and a car) even tho they cannot afford gas prices right now at apartment

\~ tried to have their younger sibling(19) move in with them "for college" (was not actually for college, wasn't even sure they wanted to go to college, parents forced them to move all the way here)

\~ they did not get along (21 yo expected 19yo to clean up after them, screamed at them for having a boyfriend cause they are single and alone , etc) and the 19yo wanted to move back home , they got in a fight 19yo left and now 21yo blames them for the expenses they now have even tho they continue to pay their half of the rent until the lease is up this summer

\~ after 19yo left said they were so anxious and lonely cause nobody would be their roommate that they needed a pet (most weekends and summers they aren't even at the apartment and the house already has two dogs so the house owner doesn't want more)

\~ asked me (I am currently unemployed other than under the table odd jobs ((don't have time or space to explain why maybe someday but I promise it's for a decent reason )) too take care of said pet while they went home to work on weekends and holidays and whenever they didn't want to take care of it and I said no because I'm never home weekends and it's not my responsibility

\~ aunt who's a parapro (mother of cousin) called me negative for saying no (was on phone with cousin and thought I couldn't hear)

\~ cousin ended up adopting a rescue dog even with my input against it

\~ today after working on my brother's small business inventory, I scroll through social media with a post from said aunt explaining they've only had the dog for about a week and they are hoping to find it a new home so they don't have to take it back to the shelter because instead of lessening my cousins anxiety it increased

If confused why I'm not using proper pronouns I asked and it's perfectly fine with the use of any pronouns I've asked permission

If anyone would like to hear more context or ask questions I will try my best to respond but I don't have notifications on also this is just a vent post cause nobody else in my family thinks this is a big deal

***So long story short my cousin uses special needs and mental illness as an excuse for their bad behavior and I'm kind of sick and tired of it***
