Nightshift oura ring users chime in!!!
I’m a nightshift nurse I work 7pm-7am three nights a week and I’ve been doing that for 2.5 years straight. I got an oura ring three weeks ago because I feel like garbage at this point lol. Trying to manage my health while working these hours is my goal with the ring.
My HRV is not good, my sleep and readiness is not good, my HR is high when I’m sleeping during the day but better at night. Overall my body is strained.
I know it’s possible to have better balance and I thought I was doing somewhat ok until I got my ring. I’ve seen people on here talk about increasing overall scores but that’s hard to follow when my schedule is flip flopped sometimes. How do I fix these things while working nights and if you’ve also done it pls let me know tips!!
