For example, in mine, there is the war between the space titans and the space gods, the emergence of the first Star Guardian, the appearance of demigods on Earth and their return in the 1940s as superheroes, the Holy War of Andromeda, etc.
Hal Jordan—a former Air Force pilot and astronaut—is sent on a space exploration mission. There, he discovers a spacecraft containing the remains of Nobin Bur, who bestows upon him cosmic powers, transforming him into the new Emerald Surfer—a member of the Heralds of Ganthus, Guardian of Life. He defends his galaxy against various cosmic threats while balancing his life as an Earth astronaut with his role as a galactic protector, fighting in conflicts such as the Crisis of the Infinite Rings, the Secret Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Sinrax War, the Negative Wave, and the prophesied invasion of the Necroverse by Lady Nekron.
