Visitor visa, student from Australia

Hey guys, i got recently my Australian Student Visa which is for a short term program, 6 months long. In the end of the program, December 2026, i want to travel to New Zealand too. But i have some questions.

Can i apply from Australia as an international student, would this create any problem for physical requirements, such as passport delivery etc. Or should i be in my home country in the process of application.

Would having an Australian Visa meanwhile strengthen the application.

Please note that in the end of my short term program, i will come back to my home country to complete my bachelors.

I would appreciate any additional suggestions or information!

Grant with a previous refusal!

Hey guys,

My visa has been granted after 22 days wait!

Sector: Non award (6 months exchange program)

Nationality: Turkish🇹🇷

lodged: 29th april

biometrics: 30th april

grant: 20th may.

I had a previous italian tourist visa refusal, which was creating stress.

Also, the processing time caused anxiety since it was showing 50% processed in less than 1 day, where mine took 3 weeks, most probably due to visa refusal.

I hope everyone gets theirs

Hey guys, i want to ask something

A couple months ago, we as a family purchased an apartment, and due to financial reasons, the apartment is under my name. I will move into that apartment after my short course in Australia, 6 months. We bought it so i can move into. I explained that i have an apartment under my name that i am going to move after the course in order to prove my ties in my home country. But now, since i am a student, would it look suspicious or need further explanation. It was a purchase by my family for me and they registered the apartment on me for convenience.

Am i overthinking, is it a good thing to have a deed as a student or suspicious i dont know

If we are applying offshore, who evaluates our visa application?

Officers in Australia, DoHA OR in home country, consulate of Australia?

If someday is national day in our home country, would this affect the application process time?
