Confronting someone with info I shouldn’t know

I’ll try to be brief. I’m a caregiver, and me and my coworker work with the same client. My client has been telling my coworker all kinds of lies about me and I want to confront my client about it but I’m not even supposed to know that my client is upset with me.

How can I confront my client without exposing my coworker for telling me everything my client said?

Details for those that care:
My client isn’t some old senile or demented lady. She’s 40 something and just mean.

My client says I leave early, says I don’t talk to her, and I’m rude to her. She also misconstrued a story about how I left after only being with her for 2 hours which is only part of the story. Someone called out so I went to check on her for 2 hours but had to leave since I had another client that day. What I should have did was left her with no one but I wanted to make sure she was ok. It’s stuff like that that really pisses me off.
