I recently upgraded to an RX 9070 XT PULSE. I tried undervolting it, but something went wrong. After restarting, Windows booted normally, but nothing would open on the desktop.

After a few restarts, everything started working again.

Today, when I got home from work, the same thing happened again. I had recently updated the GPU driver, so I used DDU and installed one version older, and everything went back to working normally.

I played on the PC for a while, and then the power went out in my building. After turning the PC back on, Windows booted normally again, but once more, nothing would open on the desktop.

I tried getting into Safe Mode by turning the PC off and on several times until Windows started loading. I eventually got to the Automatic Repair screen, followed by Diagnosing your PC, and after that the computer booted normally and everything started working again.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Could this be a driver issue, a Windows issue, or possibly something related to the GPU itself?

I’m planning to buy an RX 9070 XT, but I’m having a hard time deciding which model/version to go for.

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who actually own one. I’m especially interested in long-term reliability and real-world experience rather than just benchmark results.

If you own an RX 9070 XT, could you share:

1. Which exact model/version do you have?
2. What do you like about it?
3. What do you dislike about it?
4. How are the temperatures and fan noise?
5. Have you experienced coil whine?
6. Any crashes, driver issues, black screens, overheating, or other problems?
7. How is the build quality?
8. How is the warranty/RMA experience if you've had to use it?
9. Would you buy the same model again?

I’m currently considering different versions such as Sapphire, PowerColor, XFX, ASUS, Gigabyte, etc., and I’m trying to figure out which models have the best overall reputation from actual owners.

If you had to buy an RX 9070 XT again today, which model would you choose and why?
