Does anyone else feel like the ending of MLP FIM was kind of directed toward us, the audience?

Like, Twilight being scared to leave Ponyville and move on from her friends felt similar to how fans felt knowing the show was ending. It almost felt like the writers understood that we weren’t just watching the characters say goodbye, we were saying goodbye too.
And in “The Magic of Friendship Grows,” when Pinkie says:
“And no matter how much time goes by, the party will still be here with some fun new games to try.”, the other mane 6 lyrics were also kind of similar. It honestly feels meta, like the show is telling fans that even though the series is over, the memories, fandom, friendships, rewatches, and community will still continue.
The whole finale felt less like “the end” and more like “life goes on,” both for the Mane Six and for us watching.
Am I overthinking this or did anyone else get the same feeling?

What’s next for MLP realistically?

What do you think hasbro has in store for MLP in the future? They were talking about some brand reinvention for the upcoming years, what do you guys think they will do? Perhaps a g4 reboot/ continuation due to the failure of g5, or something else like a brand new generation?

What’s the most nostalgic Song from the show?

I Would say “True True Friend” is most nostalgic one for me, it’s like the first song that comes up in my head when I think of mlp and is also very catchy.

Which character do you relate to the most?

For me personally, it’s twilight sparkle. I think she’s easily one of the most related to characters in the show.
