👀 FEDEX CHARGES AFTER DELIVERING
I received a Demand for Payment from FedEx for $94 for a document I sent overseas to the Dominican Republic.
I wanted to use DHL but the Authorized Retailer recommended FEDEX and quoted them at a much lower price. I paid for it, document was delivered.
A month and a half later, I received an invoice and a second letter (all mailed out on 5/5 and doc was sent on 3/20) where it reads “COLLECTION ALERT” “Status: Delinquent”
I thought this was scam and called to confirm and turns out, it’s true. I owe that money.
On the invoice I’m being billed for:
-Transportation Charge $72.50
-Fuel Surcharge $22.29
Edit: I paid $80 at the time of sending.
I’m disputing this, but what-exactly-did I pay for then if this is true?!
At the time of payment I was not alerted about additional charges or do I see it on the fine print of the FedEx Bill—document where we sign.
I feel duped. Has this happened to anyone?!
👀 IS THIS NORMAL?
The Lady said the “this won’t happen again”—NO, because I’m not using FedEx again.
