My choices are:

• FEATI University — BS Geodetic Engineering with an 85% scholarship
• DLSU Manila — BS Computer Engineering, currently waiting for scholarship results (hoping for 80% or better)

I know that Geodetic Engineering seems to have a more stable career path in the Philippines, especially since licensed GEs are always needed for surveying, and the sorts. Job security is one of the things making me consider GE. But I’m also interested about the opportunities in Computer Engineering. I know CpE is broad, but I’m not fully sure what career paths are realistically available after graduation here in the PH (and possibly abroad).

Insight is appreciated for:

• job opportunities and salary growth
• stability/job security
• opportunities abroad
