Last one - Latin. 1854.

Hi - thanks again for all the help. I have one last book that I can’t figure out what it’s about and was hoping to help. It’s in Latin and from 1854. Again, inherited. Thanks!

German (I think) book - 1856

Hi! This is another book I inherited and have no idea what it is. Pretty sure it’s German. It’s from 1854. When I looked it up in Google Translate it said something about pastoral care? Anyway, any help on identifying what exactly this is would be helpful.

Don Quixote inquiry

Hi! I discovered this sub a little while ago and I love it so much. It got me thinking, I inherited a bunch of books from my grandmother and I never knew how to get more information on them until now. Usually she kept meticulously notes, but nothing on these books. Hoping you can help. I’ll be posting a few books I’d like more information on and can’t seem to find online. Any help is appreciated.

This one is Don Quixote. Seems to have some age, but not a lot…🤷🏼‍♀️. Red leather front with gold lettering. Leather is coming off. Can’t find a date. New York. Thomas Y. Crowell Company. Volume 1. Don’t have volume 2 (if one exists). Pictures attached. Thanks 🙏🏻.
