F-1 Visa Profile Evaluation – need an advice

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23yo female seeking an honest evaluation of my profile and tips for an upcoming F-1 visa interview. Due to the closure of US consular services in Russia, I am applying as a Third Country National in Astana, Kazakhstan.

I have been admitted to Master’s of Business Analytics

My Background:
- U.S. History: Attended and graduated from a US high school (held two F-1 visas). For my senior year (and last 3 months of my junior year), I chose to finish it online from home due to COVID and didn't renew the visa, returning to Russia immediately. Clean record, no overstays. After high school I took a gap year to work at my family’s business.

- Undergrad in France: Graduating from with a Bachelor’s in Business Management (Luxury Marketing & Digital Innovation specialisation) from a French university.

- EU Visa Nuance: I originally entered the Schengen area on an Italian tourist visa before obtaining my French student residence permit. My French residency is expiring upon graduation. I entered in 2022, but my university started in 2023, so there’s a gap that might be questioned.

- Work & Funding: Did remote summer internships at my dad's company in Russia while studying in Paris. Moving to a full-time role there this June until I leave for the US.

- Finances: Fully sponsored by my father ($230k available mentioned). My university also gave me a $30k scholarship. (Also accepted to another one with a $47k scholarship, but preferred my uni due to the curriculum).

- Ties to Home Country:
My father runs an established business in Russia. My post-grad goal is to return and launch a new branch within the family company. I can also provide ownership of property in Russia.

What I am enough confident about:
1 I already returned to my home country after U.S. high school – no overstays, no dissimilarity in my interviews

2 Clear explanation of sponsorship + pretty strong ties to my home country (even though haven’t returned in 4 years)

My Main Concerns:
1 Since my French residence permit is expired, I won't have the physical card with me. I will bring my official French degree/graduation certificate and transcripts to prove my legal stay. Will the officer scrutinize my past Schengen stamps or ask about entering via an Italian tourist visa initially?

2 I heard that some officers might be very strict with people applying to STEM programs, so I want to know what are the questions that an officer might ask?

3 I also did not exit EU until the end of my studies (so from 2022 to 2026) – will it be a problem for an officer?

Any other red flags I should prepare for? Thanks for your insights! :)
