Looking for 1-2 players
Hello Adventurers
I am A 2 year DM looking to add 1-2 players into my home
Game (meaning it is a free and laid back game)
I run on DnD beyond with discord as the partner resource for group chat , pbp down time elements and campaign artwork etc.
The game runs bi-weekly Sundays at 1:30pm (EST) and we run 3hr sessions I currently have 3 other players. We had taken a quick hiatus due to life events but coming back I feel like it’s a good time to fill out the roster with some solid players that like challenging optimized combat - meaning players need to strategize and work together or PC death is possible, and like RP aspects of the game (no we’re not tryna be critical role but we do like to stay in character once we’re in game until session is finished) the party is currently level 4 and still VERY early in the campaign.
{Game Premise and setting}
The campaign takes place in the Doomed Forgotten Realms, a version of the Forgotten Realms where nearly every major catastrophe from official D&D adventures actually happened — and all of it was secretly orchestrated by Vecna.
For generations, Vecna manipulated events across Faerûn from the shadows. He corrupted prophecies, engineered wars, unleashed demon lords, fueled cult uprisings, manipulated dragons, and used catastrophes like the rise of Tiamat, the chaos in the Underdark, the descent into Avernus, and the eternal winter as part of a single grand design.
At the center of this scheme was the Soulmonger, built by Vecna’s servant Acererak in Chult. Every death across Toril fed souls into an unfinished god-vessel meant to house Vecna’s divine essence. When enough suffering and death had accumulated, Vecna was reborn as a godlike conqueror.
The Sword Coast collapsed quickly afterward.
Civilizations fractured. Entire regions became warzones ruled by undead, devils, dragons, cults, and tyrants. Vecna now rules from Waterdeep as the self-proclaimed Lord of Toril while the world survives in scattered pockets of resistance and desperation.
The tone of the setting is:
post-apocalyptic fantasy
dark heroic survival
political collapse and faction warfare
cosmic horror and divine corruption
resistance against impossible odds
