Would the refund window extend?
Hey all,
I have a holiday booked to Dubai with Emirates Holidays. Departure date is 17th June. I’m travelling with my wife and 10-month-old son, so I’m now considering cancelling and getting a refund rather than going.
I’ve been told that if I cancel now I would only get around 20% back, because the current disruption refund eligibility window is only for travel up to and including 15th June. ( Emirates holiday not Emirates)
I’m just wondering if anyone knows whether this refund window is likely to be extended again, as it has been extended a few times already. My departure is just two days after the current cutoff, so I’m trying to decide whether to wait or cancel now.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or seen how likely another extension is this close to the deadline?
