Need advice: repaint/wrap current hood or replace with hood scoop hood?

I’m trying to decide what to do with the hood on my ‘09 Tacoma. The current hood’s paint is pretty rough, so I was originally planning to either repaint it or wrap it. But now I’m also considering replacing it entirely with a hood that has a hood scoop.

For those who’ve done either option, do you think it’s worth spending the extra money on a new hood, or should I just repaint/wrap the current one for now?
