Possible motherboard issue?
I’ve been having an issue with my PC where it won’t boot two windows, so I took it to Micro Center to have it diagnosed and they told me the motherboard died and I also needed to replace my power supply. After buying a new motherboard and power supply and reinstalling everything back into my case I’m still not getting windows to boot. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting steps of resetting the CMOS, trying different RAM, even reassembling everything out of the case and still nothing. The standby light on the motherboard is on, but I’m not getting getting anything else when I hit power (I’ve also tried tripping the power pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver, still getting nothing).
At the beginning of my rebuild, I was hearing the PSU click when I attempted to turn on the system, but that only happened maybe twice. Now on any attempts to start the system up I get no response from any components.
Any other tips before I take the motherboard back and try again?
