Leaves of my jasmine are falling off

Location: Blr

I bought a small jasmine (juhi) plant from urvann and the soil it came in was the red soil. Thick, compact, dry and slimy at the same time.

I kept it in shade for a day and then repotted into a potting soil, vermincompost, coco bark, perlite and neem khilli mixture.

I watered it and kept it in the shade only.

After a day when I rearranging some plants, I saw 2-3 leaves of my jasmine plant fallen. I picked it up and just with that slightest of the jerk, my plant became half bald.

I had already pruned it when it came because it had a lot of empty flower stems and I had read that pruning is good for the plant.

Please help me with what I can do to make sure it doesnt die because I did the same things with my gardenia also.

Would putting something like humic acid work??
