Has anyone tried doing something like this on their balconies and terrace?

Has anyone here done something like this? I'm planning to doing this on my balconies and terrace as my mom loves flowers. I'm planning on either of these (bougainvillea, Madhumalti, Trumpet vine, Clock vine/Sehera bel which is my mom's fav) creepers but I'm open for more suggestions.
- I'm looking for someone to guide me on the process.
- Should I just plant the creeper in a pot and let it climb?
- Do I need to pot multiple plants?
- What creepers would give flowers throughout the year?

Is the setup fine for Monsterra?

Location : Bangalore

The setup you see has a balcony door and window on the right, towards the west. Plenty of light from afternoon.

My question is if the monsterra staying like this will hamper its stability. Thank you very much in advance!

I got this plant today from a nursery (Lalbagh - 600rs). I don't plan to repot for at least 2 weeks for it to get used to my place.

An attempt to create a listing of online plant sellers

I am trying to collect details of online sellers members of this sub have purchased plants from. What are your favorite or not-so-favourite online sellers? Do they sell across India? Any sellers who specialize in some specific category? Customer service experience?

Parijat Pant help

My parijat plant leaves are drying up and can be crumbled to pieces. I removed all the old dried leaves. Now new leaves have started coming up, but they don’t look like growing further. The new leaves look to of this size for more than a week now. Can someone please suggest what’s wrong that must be fixed or taken care of? The plant gets sunlight from noon till evening in a balcony. It’s planted in a vegetable crate, so the soil quantity is sufficient and doesn’t dry up very often. I was watering every 1-2 days but now I’m watering once a week roughly.

My terrace garden

So this is the terrace garden we made at our house around 6 years ago. We installed popup sprinklers for irrigating the lawn as well and everything is still going strong till date.

My doggo absolutely loves playing here haha.

Vermicompost for just ₹1? How is that even possible?

LOCATION – Delhi

I was adding something to my cart for the second time from a platform like Urvann and found a ₹1 product. Is this real? Has anyone shopped from them, and what about this free product?

Dying plant?! 😭

This lil plant had beautiful yellow flowers. I used to water it daily and even gave it some fertilizer. But then I had to go out of town for an emergency. When I came back it was all dry and the flowers put their necks down😭🥀.

On someone's advise I cut those stems and have been watering them since daily. It's been a month now and I don't see any progress.

Should I keep hopes or is it too late for my Lil plant?!🥹

Suggest me a good fertilizer (beginner)

I had my Monstera for over 5 months now and I had cut 1 leaf before because of yellowing later there was a new half leave growth now there was a full new leaf (top leaf is new) but 1 particular leaf (photo) seems to dry out. I asked ChatGPT and watch few videos, they said if plant doesn't get enough minerals from soil it will suck from existing old leaf for new growth. I'm not sure but it could be true because only this specific leaf is browning.

Saw the biggest madhumalti (rangoon creeper) vine ever

These were maybe 5-10 very old vines climbing up a tree. The air around it was filled with a subtle fragrance

New plant parent here!

Was never interested in plants but after being gifted some plants and watching them grow, it really gave me joy. Since then, I’ve been stalking Reddit, watching YouTube videos, collecting cuttings (mostly from my mom’s collection), and even bought some plants myself. It’s so rewarding when a bulb shoots up a stem, when new leaves unfurl, when a cutting develops roots, and when the flowers bloom. It’s been an exciting two months and I look forward to doing this with passion. These are all my plants under my care as a new plant parent. Location: Nagaland.
