11.5 Million Followers Later. What’s Actually Next for Cockroach Janta Party?
This is a genuine question, not hate. I’ve been following CJP since it started a few days ago, and honestly, seeing it hit 11.5 million followers and cross BJPs 8.5 million followers is wild. Clearly a lot of people resonate with the frustration, sarcasm, and anger behind it. It started off feeling fresh and relatable like people finally had a space to collectively call out the nonsense happening around us.
But lately I’ve been wondering… what’s the actual direction here?
One thing that personally feels a little odd is the whole “founding president” thing. I thought the entire idea was that this belongs to the public, not one individual face.
Most people don’t even really know him beyond the page itself, so making one person the center of a movement like this feels slightly against what it originally stood for.
And beyond Instagram outrage, what are we actually building towards?
Because reels, memes, and comments can only go so far. At some point there has to be something more concrete, right? Groundwork, local communities, actual discussions, transparency, maybe even real-world action.
Otherwise it risks becoming just another page people repost when they’re angry and forget about the next morning.
Again, I’m not trying to attack the movement. If anything, I’m asking because I think a lot of people want this to become something meaningful instead of just internet momentum.
What do you guys think CJP should realistically become from here?
