I analyzed the API 550A curves and rebuilt them in Max for Live for you!

I’ve been working on a Max for Live EQ inspired by the behaviour of the API 550A. The goal wasn’t to make a clone, but to recreate some of the things that make those EQs feel different from standard digital parametrics:

stepped frequency/gain workflow overlapping musical bands oversampling

I spent some time comparing curves and behaviour against references and tried to translate that workflow into an M4L device that feels good directly inside Ableton. Just look for anychannelaudio!

Best Composer Ever for Hire. "Never mind the rain"

Dear genius,

If you are a talented developer with a strong idea and a clear vision, and you are looking for music to support your work, you may wish to listen to my demo album “Music for a Video Game”. Perhaps we could create something meaningful together.

Some of the tracks are still available for licensing if one of them fits your project. In most cases, however, I would prefer to write something new — shaped specifically around your vision.

Listen here:

All of my music was recorded in my own studio. No software instruments or sample libraries were used in the process.

If you feel you are building something with genuine artistic intent and direction, I would be glad to hear from you. Please avoid sending unfinished concepts or generic “retro” ideas — but if you are serious about your vision, do get in touch.

Music for a Video Game

Hey there,
I just finished 8 tracks for an imaginary video game. It’s not tied to any specific project—more of a personal study into game soundtrack writing and style.

I’d love to hear what you think.
