[PS5] PS5 charging dock not fully charging. How do I test it with a multimeter?

Hey guys, need some help here. My PS5 controller charging dock left my DualSense charging all night but the battery is still not full, so I think this thing is running on low power or something. I actually have a multimeter lying around but honestly I have zero clues on how to use it lol. Can someone explain to me like I'm five where exactly do I stick the multimeter needles on those tiny gold pins to check the voltage, what numbers am I even supposed to see on the screen, and what's the move if the numbers are way too low? Is it even fixable or should I just bin it? Appreciate any help!
