Does anyone have a timeline they can share for a 4:30 or 5:00 ceremony with a first look and photos before the ceremony? We are trying to get most of our pictures done ahead of the ceremony so we can enjoy cocktail hour and mingle with our guests.
My fiancé and I are having a very low-key wedding — 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen total. I’m very close with my family, especially my twin brother. We’ve always had a super close relationship, but my fiancé and brother honestly just don’t know each other that well and aren’t particularly close themselves.
Right now, I’m planning to have my older sister as my MOH and 2 close friends as bridesmaids. My mom recently brought up that she’s worried my brother may feel hurt or excluded by not being part of the wedding party because of how close we are.
I don’t necessarily want to force him into being a groomsman when that dynamic doesn’t really fit, but I do want him to feel important and included in the day. We already have a friend officiating, so I’m looking for other meaningful ways to involve him in the ceremony or wedding itself.
Has anyone done something similar with a sibling? Especially a brother/twin? Looking for ideas that feel intentional without making the wedding party bigger.
