Insane Comeback of RCB 2024 ❤️‍🔥

Insane Comeback of RCB 2024 ❤️‍🔥

0.1% meme chance to this. Ultimate underdogs of IPL 2024. What a comeback by RCB.

Rajat Patidar’s quickfire knocks completely changed the momentum, and Dinesh Karthik turned back the clock in the second half of the season. That DK innings against SRH was massive because it prevented a huge dent to our NRR and kept the comeback alive. Cameron Green stepped up with clutch performances when the team needed balance the most.

Koch and his “white girlfriend” Faf gave stability at the top, while the bowling attack suddenly came alive in the second half. Yash Dayal’s comeback arc, Siraj finding his rhythm again, Karn Sharma’s crucial spells, Lockie’s impact, Swapnil Singh stepping in, and Will Jacks’ madness against GT all played huge roles.

That comeback was not built by one hero. It was built by a group that refused to give up when the entire cricket world had already written them off.

And summer peaked here ❤️‍🔥

And thanks, Thalaa, for that out-of-the-park six. A bad ball met the muscle of Dhoni, and the replacement ball ended up helping RCB complete the comeback.

Pardon me if I did not mention any other players’ heroics.

RCB vs PBKS deserved to become a great cricket rivalry

Hi guys, I’m an RCB fan. Honestly, at the start of this season, RCB vs PBKS genuinely felt like one of the biggest clashes of IPL 2026. Especially after last year’s final where RCB beat PBKS, the rivalry naturally started building with real intensity. After a long time, as cricket lovers, we got that feeling of two equal giants going head to head, not just RCB vs PBKS, but also Rajat vs Shreyas. The rivalry felt fresh, healthy, competitive, and built purely on cricket rather than unnecessary toxicity.

That’s why the “49” post from the PBKS admin got so much attention. It wasn’t even during an RCB vs PBKS match, which made it feel more unnecessary than organic banter. Instead of adding intensity, it triggered the environment and diluted the aura this rivalry was naturally building.

And honestly, this is the engagement era. Every franchise admin wants viral interactions and edgy banter. Sometimes it lands well, sometimes it backfires. Unfortunately, this one only added unnecessary toxicity to what was otherwise becoming a great cricket rivalry.

That said, I don’t think most RCB fans genuinely “hate” PBKS fans. RCB itself has been trolled for years, so no fanbase is above banter. Cricket fandom always moves in cycles. One season you troll, another season you get trolled. That’s normal.

What’s disappointing is that this rivalry genuinely had the potential to become one of the best in the league purely because of the quality of cricket both teams were playing. Rivalries become iconic when they stay intense yet respectful. Once things cross the line unnecessarily, the atmosphere slowly turns toxic instead of competitive.

Still, I hope today both teams play great cricket and give us that proper “clash of titans” feeling again, because in the end, that’s what cricket fans truly deserve to watch.

THIS IS HALL OF FAME BOWLING FROM BHUVI AND HAZLEWOOD - IAN BISHOP

Facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru means surviving 48 balls of Bhuvi and Hoff!!!!

That fear needs to return to the league again.

We already witnessed the powerplay masterclass from this duo…against DC..

Now bring back that death-over masterclass we witnessed against Punjab Kings last year 😭 24 yorkers landing spot-on..

Bring back that terrorism.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Core

Bhuvi God is too powerful.

I fear no religion except Bhuvi with the new ball.

And I don’t need miracles anymore — I’ve seen Bhuvi God bat.

Because it's Bhuvneshwar Fucking Kumar 🛐

Why does every player turn into Shashank Singh whenever my boy Bhuvi gets a breakthrough, man? Carrying the entire bowling lineup and leading the attack was the only mistake my boy made.

They really don’t want my boy Bhuvi to retain the Purple Cap. He has had the most catches dropped off his bowling this season, and he’s still at the top of the leaderboard

players really go out of their way to ensure Bhuvi never gets a MOTM, 6-7 catches already dropped while he is the purple cap holder

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is set to achieve a major milestone in the 2026 IPL season by playing his 200th IPL match during the LSG vs RCB game on May 7, 2026. He becomes the first fast bowler to reach this milestone in the league's history.

Recent reports suggest that Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been admitted to the hospital with a severely injured back, reportedly caused by carrying this entire team in both bowling and, at times, batting.

The strain of holding together a collapsing system has finally taken its toll. Doctors say the burden of single-handedly keeping the side competitive has become medically unsustainable. At this point, the injury is less physical and more symbolic of how heavily this team depends on him.

Doctors confirmed the damage came not from over-bowling, but from the emotional and tactical burden of watching teammates forget basic match awareness in real time.

We're so damn dependent on a 37-year-old batter and a 36-year-old bowler(Thank you 🐐).When Virat Kohli fails with the bat, the entire batting order starts looking fragile. The stability disappears, and suddenly everyone is exposed under pressure. When Bhuvi has an average day with the ball, our bowling attack loses its control and sharpness.

and Jitesh mf,doesn't even know what match awareness is. His batting position is exactly what's putting us under pressure. Every single time this guy fumbles and causes a collapse, we're forced to use Venky as cover-meaning we lose a quality bowler in the process. That leaves us defending with only our two strike bowlers and no proper support option.

It's becoming harder and harder for us to defend totals under those conditions. David and Krunal Pandya both need to bat above him. At this point, he has been a major factor in all three of our losses. But we still need to continue with him, because he is a good wicketkeeper.

3.8° of movement… in this format? Unreal, man. That ball clearly had evil intentions. 3.8° inswing in a yorker for a debutant is pure cruelty.

This is why he belongs in every conversation about elite swing bowling, only the finest in the world can do that.

Swing context (white-ball cricket):

Standard: 0.5–1.5° → mild movement, controllable

Good: 1.5–2.5° → clearly effective swing

Elite: 2.5–3.5° → top-level, match-impacting

Exceptional: 3.5°+ → rare, game-breaking movement

The 49 record is part of history, nothing more. It happened years ago, in a completely different era. This RCB side will be defined by what it achieves now, not by one collapse in 2017.

A lowest-score record does not define a dominant team. It’s just a talking point for others.

This was a flat track, unlike 2017, and our spearheads,Bhuvi and Hoff..still pushed through with tired bodies 🫡 They’re human, and workload matters.

Maybe every decision wasn’t perfect, but Rapa has always backed his bowlers. Romario’s overs were clearly about rebuilding confidence and momentum for the bigger picture.

Management is planning ahead, while some fans are still stuck on 49. And let’s not forget—they had the impact rule today; back then, we didn’t.

Context matters more than nostalgia.
