Unfair final home ground

This is extremely unfair and matches like this (GT vs CSK) keeps proving that final is in Ahmedabad and If GT comes to final they have a lot of benefit there than anyone, instead of RCB whom the home ground should be for. Really hope they don’t come to final.

Batting Positions (#1 to #11) Analyzed for IPL 2026 for each Team by Runs, Strike Rate, Boundaries

Wanted to see how is each team faring in batting at each of the batting positions from #1 to #11 and who is the strongest/weakest player at each position.

Few insights -

  1. Marsh & P Arya have dominated No.1 position while Rahane has been the weakest

  2. No. 2 is dominated totally by RR because of the 15 year old prodigy who leads in all 3 departments (runs, SR, boundaries). Gaikwad from CSK has performed the worst as expected at this position.

  3. Ishan Kishan and Klassen have been superb for SRH at #3 and #4 while Suryakumar and N Pooran have been disastrous. Patidar has been great for RCB.

  4. MI has experimented a lot with No. 5 and No. 6 but have been able to score good runs and boundaries between the likes of Pandya, Tilak, Rutherford and Will Jacks at those positions while Brevis, Tewatia have been poor

  5. Mukul Chowdhury has emerged as kinda the best No. 7 batsman while Ramandeep (KKR) and Shahrukh Khan (GT) failed the most to create impact

  6. Strike Rates of #6, #7 which are kind of finisher positions have been pretty underwhelming for most teams except for PBKS who has done well.

  7. Jamie Overton has done great at No. 8 for CSK.

  8. Bhuvi with most runs and boundaries at #9 (including the most important boundary maybe of this season, that six to Bawa).

Please share any other insights in the comments. Hope this was helpful ✌️ Who would be your IPL Playing XI or Top 7 basis this?

Mine would be

  1. Abhishek Sharma

  2. Vaibhav Suryavanshi

  3. Ishan Kishan (wk)

  4. R Patidar (could have kept Klassen but 4 overseas covered below)

  5. Tilak Verma

  6. Tim David (ov)

  7. Shashank Singh/Mukul (prefer Shashank as he can bowl)

  8. Krunal Pandya

  9. J Overton (ov)

  10. Bhuvi

  11. Hazlewood (ov)

  12. S Narine (ov)

Venkatesh Iyer when it comes to IPL knockouts beast mode activated ( 5 inngs 234runs 78avg 149strike rate )

Even I'm happy with the current squad and the combinations are working well, but somewhere it still feels sad watching this

beast sit on the bench.

A player with that kind of impact and

knockout mentality deserves to be out there on the field

RCB top 2 is confirmed! Win or Lose tomorrow

I mean we have to lose pretty bad to move down to 3 or 4, I don't think that is gonna happen tomorrow but keeping the winning strike alive going into qualifier is required very much to have hands on trophy back to back

A humble request to RCB management, let this guy come in middle overs

I love watching him play, and I hope he gets retained in the mega auction as well. He seems like the most talented foreigner option for the auction. I was so happy when RCB bought him last year. Please, let him bat wherever he wants. What do you guys think about this?

HYDERABAD KING KOHLI FANS warmly invites everyone!!

As someone from Telangana, this makes me really emotional. ❤️

People here don’t just admire Virat Kohli as a cricketer — for many of us, he’s an emotion we grew up with. After two years, seeing him return to Hyderabad and fans organizing a food donation camp instead of just banners or fireworks shows the kind of impact he has on people.

No matter which franchise we support, the love for Kohli in Hyderabad is always massive. Cricket celebrations feel more meaningful when they spread happiness beyond the stadium too. Huge respect to the fans who organized this before the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad game.
