some reminders on what to look out for!!

These are all things I have a bad habit of doing that are no bueno for this condition so I just thought I’d remind you guys too!!

  1. Don’t hold your bladder for long periods of time

I’m definitely guilty of this and apparently it’s something common amongst people with overactive pelvic floors. I’ve literally been in the habit of holding the urge to pee for hours ever since I was a kid. Just go!!

  1. Try to check throughout the day if you’re tensing your abdominal muscles, jaw, or rlly anywhere in your body and release!

As we all know, everything is interconnected 🫠

  1. Watch your posture and try not to cross your legs!

Both can imbalance your pelvic alignment. That’s all from me! Wishing you all a happy Monday!
