Would just like to get your insights about OB residency in AUF. Got a friend who plans to travel to Pampanga to do her residency there and I don't know what to say.

Here's me back on duty with my Old Smith 90-002 from Kuoe Kyoto. Bought this last November when I visited Japan, I was thinking at the time that I need a field watch and instead of getting a Hamilton I got this.
Instead of a clear caseback, the underside is made of stainless steel that you could have them engrave on it.
Mine say's Sic Parvis Magna. Iykyk.
One of my goals in life is buy my dad a watch. Currently he is using my grandfather's watch. An heirloom an old Seiko Kinetic from the 80s. So I'm looking to buy him a Submariner as thanks and hope he uses it before he retires, any recommendations where to procure one?
