How do I tell someone I want to live on my own?
Hey guys!! Has anyone ever been in a situation where someone suggested they wanted to move in together and it sounded like a fun idea but then they bring up the idea that we should be life partners and that we will be pretty much committed to each other for the rest of our lives and then that idea becomes not-so-great because it’s feels a bit suffocating?
I love them as a friend and always want to be in their life but I don’t think I can settle down for a life long commitment to live with them forever, you know? I realized now that I want to live a more independent lifestyle and of course I want to have friends and family around but I would kinda like to do my own thing. But I already told this person I might be down to live with them but I’m just not as comfortable with the idea now. Any advice?
