Soham meditation experience
I'm new to meditation, and I'm taking a 6-week course to my Indian teacher to Google Meet to learn different kinds of meditation. Soham meditation suited me so that I was doing soham meditation for about 10-20 minutes before bed for 6 consecutive days.
I did soham meditation before bed. At first, I meditated while being conscious of my breathing, but at some point, I felt vibrations in my forehead, nose, and philtrum as if a massage gun had been brought to my head, and I didn't pay attention to my breathing. I meditated for the longest time during meditation practice. And as a finishing touch, I put my hands together and lowered my chin, but I could feel vibrations in my hands as well.
I was lying down to sleep after meditation yesterday, and I kept waking up surprised right before I went to sleep. So I could hardly sleep.
Should I not do this meditation before bed from now on?
