Subject: Request for Fair Consideration Due to Multiple Exam Paper Leaks
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope you are well. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing exam integrity issues affecting the recent Cambridge examinations. Many candidates are extremely stressed and uncertain about the fairness of the results this session.
So far, three papers have been leaked — 9709/52, 9709/12, and now 9709/32. These repeated leaks have severely disrupted our preparation, confidence, and overall exam performance. This situation is completely beyond students’ control, yet we are the ones facing the consequences.
Given the extent of the leaks and their impact across centres, I kindly request the British Council to consider one of the following measures to ensure fairness for all candidates:
Lowering the grade thresholds due to the compromised exam conditions.
Awarding predicted grades where appropriate for subjects affected by multiple leaks.
Ensuring that no candidate is disadvantaged because of the exam security failures.
Students have worked extremely hard throughout the year, and it is disheartening that our efforts are being overshadowed by repeated breaches in exam security. We sincerely hope the British Council will acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and take steps that reflect fairness and support for all affected candidates.
Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
