I’ve noticed that the beats I hear folks making with the MPC sample sound way worse then the beats from other MPCs. The sound quality is bad, the drums always seem to sound cheap.

Do you think its bc the MPC sample attracts people new to beats?

Or do you think its the sound quality of the drum sounds they give you with the MPC sample?

No judgment just curious why all the drums sound bad coming from the sample

I want to try and sample basslines.

I imagine I’d have to LPF but what else can I throw on that drum program to get the bass sounding good but not overbearing?

I'm curious what services or tools you all use to polish your book up before you publish it.
