Does anyone else experience this?

As a teacher being on my feet is like a need. I can't just sit at my desk all day. Over the last few weeks I noticed a new symptom. Whenever I am standing or walking for too long or I get too hot I start getting dizzy, nauseous, muffled/ringing hearing, body gets hot/cold flashes, I start sweating, and I get blurred vision. It's been the past week or two that I started noticing it. Has anyone else had this happen when they are simply just on their feet or just recently stood up? It's at the point I have to cook with a chair behind me because I might pass out.

I had to stop Diamox a while ago because the side effects were causing worse problems.

A few questions

I am still in the diagnosis process even though my PCP and ophthalmologist strongly believe I have IIH. I have an appointment next week with a neuro-op for the first time ever since my original neurologist refused to help in any way. I do have a few questions:

  1. Do you have constant headaches or are there days where everything is fine? I ask because some days (like today) I feel fine other than a slight tight feeling in the back of my head.

  2. How can I ensure that I advocate for myself at my appointment? I have been told that this specific doctor is rude and does not listen but he's the only neuro-op in my area that understands IIH.

  3. Is there different medication I can request instead of Diamox? I have been on Diamox since September per my PCP and I cannot handle it anymore, between the constant nausea, face tingling, and difficulty breathing I have had to come off of it.

  4. What do you do when you feel like no doctors are listening to you or don't believe you? I have already switched neurologists because of this issue but the new neurologist has to approve me and look at my medical history before they will even see me and it's frustrating because the only lumbar puncture I have was a 12 because I was on Diamox when they did the puncture in the ER saying that Diamox wouldn't effect the puncture reading (but that's literally the point of Diamox).

I'm so tired of being questioned by doctors who don't believe me and then questioning myself because I have a good day.
