My partner and I are currently looking at finding a house to buy and are considering the Hillsborough area. We're unlikely to be able to find or afford somewhere with off-street parking, so I'll most likely be looking at parking on the street somewhere near the house. I'm happy to pay for a parking permit if needed but I know that parking can be difficult especially around match days at Hillsborough Stadium.

I've tried finding information on how often matches are etc but I can't seem to find much online. Most summaries just describe it as "busy on match days" but give no detail on how often this or what it means practically. I'd be grateful for any advice or hearing people's experiences on what it's actually like.
