Hand tattoo healing advice

Thinking of getting a tattoo in this placement with a similar font. How would something like this heal? I’m hesitant to get hand tats because I heard they fade quickly and could get muddy, especially with the fine lines and handwashing. Anyone with a similar tattoo have any advice? How has it held up over time? Thanks in advance.
