…that Agnes’ father is a spy or May Day? The way he’s calmed Daisy earlier in the season, and how the Eyes who took Becka look less like the traditional Eyes, makes me think he’s working for May Day. He said “I called your fiancé,” who is Garth the double agent; I think he had to maintain the optics of loyalty to Gilead in front of Agnes to not give it away, but I think he was actually helping Becka and is subversive. Thoughts?

I read the books, but I want to be clear that Daisy possibly getting revenge Becca’s Dad at the end of the season is not “big” enough for me. For those of us who are fans of the literature, I am tired of the responses of people saying “People just don’t like world building.” We had enough of the Gilead world in Handmaids Tale. I am watching this because I want to see the downfall of Gilead. Also, how and when is Daisy going to find out that Agnes is June’s daughter, and when is Agnes going to find out that her Mom is June? That is an enormous part of the book and we’re about to get through an entire season without any inkling of it. It just seems like the writers are using this to distract us from realizing we are almost through an entire season and haven’t touched upon the main point the book, which the show is based on, is grounded in.

This show, just like all of TV it seems now, is dragging things out so much and nothing is happening.
