Pls HELP !!!! BCA 2025 Graduate, 1 Year Gap, confused About MCA and IT Career
hello everyone, i am stuck and really confused about my career. i completed my bca in 2025 and took 1 year gap because of some personal reasons now i only know one programming language and basic dsa currently, i have a non it job where i can earn around 30-40k per month.
now i am thinking about doing mca but i am not sure what is the right decision for me.
should i do mca or should i prepare for one more year and improve my academics, dsa, and development skills first. if i take another gap year then it will become a 2 year gap.
right now i am 22 years old and if i complete mca i will be around 25.
also, if i do college and continue my job together, then it may become very difficult for me to study and focus properly because my job timing is from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am with college assignments, exams n skill improvement, i am worried that i may not be able to manage everything properly.
is that too much age for starting a career in it. will companies reject me because of my gap years and age. i really need honest advice and guidance because i am genuinely confused
