I lost my Guinea pig today.
She was 2 months old only. We got her to pair my older piggy who was 6 months. I got her from animal nursery. They had only 5* ratings. Piggy came to us suspiciously skinny, then the poops were not typical. After few days we decided go to vet. Bronchitis, digestive issues. She had A LOT of stuff being only 2 months old! We did everything we could injections, medicine…. She seemed to improve but today she laid down got all soft started breathing too fast we rushed to vet but she already made her last breathe…. Adrenaline injection didn’t help to make her little heart beat again…
Vet told us she had almost no chance to overcome all of this…
I keep crying and being anxious. I kissed her little body on that cold vet table….
I can’t get away from the memories of today blaming myself I couldn’t be better owner and help her more…
