I saw the Love and Deepspace stick figure post and that reminded me of Slashfic's newest event. So Hot Tub Slash Machine mostly spoiler-free review cause I'm poor af.

I'm a simple girlie. I love three things: gaming, reading sexy stuff, and getting down with fictional men. Normally I'm into things like Genshin Impact or Love and Deepspace but I took a break from it and picked up Slashfic. I saw an ad or something and as I said, I'm a simple girlie. I saw the Ghostface rip off and downloaded the app it's on.
So firstly, not into Dorian that much. It's whatever. NOT the point! Point is! After reading half the 50-something story, I randomly decided to replay the beginning. I felt like I was forgetting things so I did it. BOOM! I get a notification during Episode 3 about their new event.
The name hooked me, Hot Tub Slash Machine. XD, I dunno, I love the movie so I just decided to dive in. Didn't hurt that the info thing was covered in naked men.
Slashfic is a horror game but this event is anything but. I think they took the theming from the Love and Deepspace ads where they use stick figures to promote? No idea but it's hilarious cause the stick figures are everywhere inside the event.
And they do things that is known for them in the world.
I just find these kinds of details really cute. I'm used to pretty bland graphics where it's just the base artwork and something. I also love the obvious use of Canva.
BUT SORRY! Lemme get back on topic! The review!
Let's start with the important stuff!
Smexy Stuff:
This for me was the most important stuff. I saw that they were offering naked skins so I wanted to see what that was about too.
The sexy stuff is a gradual incline. Not just kiss, kiss, kiss but like touching in one scene, oral in another, frotting, and up and up until sex is a thing. They haven't gotten to it yet (since it's only Day 7) but on Day 8, it's heavily implied that the final chapter has an orgy.
How can you hate on an orgy?
Without any details, my fave scene was in Day 5 where it had Ghost and Jay setting up this game and chasing us down. I'm feral for that kind of shit.
I also can't forget this cause it's sexy but it's its own thing too.
Voice Acting:
Slashfic isn't normally voiced but these events have some of it voice acted. Omfg, the voice notes in this one get DIRTY! They just use innuendos that drive me wild! XD, I know I'm easy!
Storyline:
The characters in the event are their usuals, Ghost, Mike, Leather and Jay. If you've ever played it, you know that these guys are Slashfic's bread and butter. They everywhere. But I gotta say, the event is clearly trying to do something a little different.
The overall event is framed as a really basic competition but each of the characters has this storyline that's going on too. I wasn't a fan of everyone's but I really loved Ghost's and Leather's. What can I say, I'm a simple girlie!
Ghost: is a needy, jealous punk in this event but you can tell that it's coming from a place of insecurity. It's basic but it's deeper than I'm used with a lot of this kind of stuff.
Leather: struggled with being good enough for me as the MC. So he spends half the event wallowing in that. I just love that while everyone is gun-ho to a certain extent, there's varying levels of it.
Mike and Jay were also good though! JUST not as good!
Locations:
Normally the backgrounds in the app are kinda phoned in. In the event you can tell whoever they hired for it was working that canva or their photoshop. I found it cool because they were also being used to help show the passing of time rather than just saying what was happening.
Final Word:
But yea, overall, this new event was super fun and I honestly am posting so that they know I love it and want more of it. I love these little storylines they got going on aside from the main plot. I know others want more of that kind of main plot stuff but I love things like this too where it's just them doing whatever and being random about it.
