Havenfall is for lovers will be released on nintendo switch today. Please, please, PLEASE do NOT purchase it. Charging full price while not releasing the full game is a huge slap in the face to the fans who supported Voltage and were extremely sad to see them go. They are Charging full price for half of a game and giving people no reasoning as to why and they will continue to do so as long as people purchase them. Please show these people that we will not spend a penny of our hard earned money if they refuse to show fans the proper respect we deserve.
KAORU, STOP THROWING THINGS AT YOUR SISTER, JUST LET ME ROMANCE HIJIKATA
I CAN DO LITERALLY EVERY OTHER MINI-GAME BUT KAORU'S IS ABSOLUTEL HEEEEEEEEEEELL
WHY WOULD YOU THROW TWO ERASERS i'm going to die here. This is it. I will never get the good ending for Hijikata.
Edit: it took me 40 minutes to get ONE MORE WIN out of Kaoru, and then i just prayed through the following four games. This is probably still my most favorite game ever next to Hakuoki itself, but I'm just... oh man. They made you WORK for that first ending
1: Yuriko and Majima
2: Shanao and Yoritomo
3: Lynette and Shelby
4: Olympia and Akaza
5: Mikoto and Mizuchi
6: Cloe and Shiba
Yes I do have a spending problem.
I try to organize things so that everything is seen but it gets harder by the day. I have a box of cloth posters which can't see the light of day because I don't know how to display them.
I already need another shelf even though I got the tall one RECENTLY.
Can you tell I really like the butler (winter 2025) market.
It really hurt to blur my beautiful boys but my shelf is full of spoilers T-T
💙 Riku merch from the recent Olympia Soiree Sakura event オランピアソワレ ~天供島の桜便り~ and a few older items from Virche stage play and my love Tsukuyomi 🌕
(Had to make an account for this because i am so confused and really need help. So sorry in advance if this is the wrong tag/subreddit, i dont really know what i am doing hahaha)
I'm desperate to play Light and Night and was unsure of how to access the new english version in my region. I saw someone else make a post and suggest >!qooapp!<, but when i found it and went to download it, it keeps saying that i have to pay 00.00 USD after pressing the big red download symbol. I know that means it's literally free, but now i am scared i am using the wrong website and don't wanna let them access my personal stuff hahaha
(Also, when i search light and night in the website, it only comes up with the option of simplified chinese, korean and traditional chinese. Does that mean that the SEA isn't available?)
Does anyone have any way to explain/guide me in a simple way at all? What is everyone else doing about this?

Hello! I was just wondering what is the difference of the points you usually get during lucky time when hosting an event? And also does it have a great difference to the points you get when it's not lucky time?
I don't know if the lucky time buff is working on me. I have 3 card slots open and during the lucky time buff I only get 200+ points. While in ikemen villain i have 2 card slots only and the lucky time buff that i get is 1000+. Both game I only have one 5 stars card so I don't know why the points i get in IkeVil is more than the points I get in IkePri.
I'll try to observe the difference of the points i get during lucky time and normal time. If the points, I get are still the same I think I'm going to contact their customer service.
I am honestly thinking about it, but wouldn't even know how to start. It just bothers me that so many of the games are only available in japanese. And there are basically always grammar/spelling mistakes in the english version.
I personally also love jrpgs/anime, so it wouldn't even be wasted.
There are A LOT of commercial releases this year. So I was just growing through some I’m most excited about and wondered what y’all are the most interested in?
Some upcoming titles include:
(Japanese)
(English)
So, which game are you hyped for most? Why? Any pre-play favourites that caught your eye?
made a quick sketch of nejikisa its been a while i miss them so so much
Ikki is the first and only route I’ve finished in this game so far. I’d read that Shin is the recommended LI to start with so I started with him, but I ended up pivoting to Ikki anyway because I’m a complete sucker for whitehaired playboy LIs.
Honestly, the best way to describe both him and his route is frustrating. His obsessive fan girls and his passive response to them really got on my nerves. I understand that a lot of it comes from his supernatural eyes, but the fan girls really did need to calm the hell down. Still there was something pitiful about how resigned he is to his situation, and how sincerely he keeps trying, even when those efforts seem ultimately futile, to make everyone happy.
He clearly blames himself for a lot of what happens, and even by the end, he still sees his fan girls as victims of his eyes rather than people he holds any real grudge against. At his core, he’s obviously a very kind person who constantly puts everyone else’s feelings before his own. Throughout his route, he’s always trying to walk that careful line between managing his fans so they don't go overboard on the bullying, and trying to be a good boyfriend to the MC during their three-month trial period. But in the end, no one really comes out of the situation fully happy or satisfied. I think that same kindness is also what makes him unintentionally cruel. He stretches himself so thin trying to please everyone that he ends up pleasing no one, least of all himself.
He also genuinely feels guilty whenever he has to turn the girls around him down, and it's clearly emotionally exhausting to comfort and reassure those girls afterward. I thought it was interesting that he admits it’s such a pain to console the people he rejects and that part of him just wants to leave, but then he feels guilty for even thinking that way.
It's clear just how limiting his condition really is. During the trip with the billiards club members, even something as simple as playing games becomes a hassle because his fan girls are too busy staring at him to actually participate. The people who are unaffected by his eyes just end up irritated that he’s causing a scene, even though it is never really intentional. I genuinely felt bad for him when he chose not to join the others when they were going to play card games because he knew no one would be able to play properly with him around. I’m glad he has Kent around as a friend, and also because their bromance was easily one of the most best parts of his route.
Although I didn’t care much for the conflict in his route, there were definitely a few scenes I really liked. The scene where the MC gets sick and Ikki shows up wearing that stupid mask just so he can visit her without causing a commotion made me laugh. The drunk scene was also adorable. One of my favorites though was his conversation with the MC’s father, which really showed off that cooler more mature side of him. It was sweet that he already had a whole plan prepared to help support the MC and the fact that he didn't get intimidated by him at all was cool.
I ended up really liking Ikki, even if the beginning was absolutely rough. His voice really did a lot of heavy lifting to make me keep going. At one point, I just picked that one dialogue option where I told him I hated him because I just got so annoyed.
On a side note, thank God for Orion and his commentary. Orion reacting to all the sus things Ikki says and reacting to the insane fan girls made the whole experience a lot more entertaining. I’d seen a lot of reviews a long time ago saying Orion was annoying, but I’m happy to say I loved our little spirit boy.
Anyway, what did you guys think of Ikki?
(Also this is a repost because the first one got removed)
It's not fair that there's so many male gaze gacha or visual novel games that let the male MC build a harem or romance multiple girls at once, but there's like...none for otome games.
I've seen many fan-made content of that kind of stuff, so clearly there's a lot of fans who would love that option where you can choose to build a harem or just romance one guy at a time. So before anyone says "but I don't want that" then you can choose not to, that's the point I'm making for there to be a CHOICE to let you end up with multiple guys at a time if you want.
I found out there's actually ONE but it's in Korean only, it's the otome game for Lady & Maid.
There's already multiple polyandrous josei manga I've come across, but not a single game. This is honestly what made me lose as much interest in otome games and would rather just read manga or read Western 'why choose' romance books.
Just in time for Marine Day 2026 weekend (July 18 ~ 20) in Japan. They chose a better release date than what I have in mind (September 17), as there's no competition for July 16.
Also, it looks like AmuLit will be doing a Uchronia, where game merch is sold first, followed by the game release. No doubt they'll follow it up with more merch selling on AGF 2026 and MuneKyun 2026.
See here for the rules they attempted to implement previously. Read the linked article for more information on the ban being reverted and potential risks/issues that can arise from adult otome projects.
With KS reverting back to their old policy when it comes to adult content this means indie otome devs can once again launch campaigns for their R18 games and we can support them!
While this is a good thing, things staying exactly the way they are forever is unlikely as Stripe still has far too much sway still leaving indie otome creators in a precarious position. This is a temporary fix due to the backlash they received but they're still looking into changing the rules at some point due to issues with Stripe. Backerkit might also be another alternative (likely temporary since they use Stripe too) if things go South with Kickstarter again.
Otome gamers can celebrate this victory right now though, spread the word so this reaches indie otome devs or those that aspire to be that were discouraged by Kickstarter's previous changes!
When I took the test at the beginning, I got some route where the MC is a delinquent which is definitely not for me, but the idea of the game in general looks interesting so I want to try other routes with dominant love interests and check if I like the atmosphere.
We only have Crazy Cha!N on the 9th, sorayume on the 23rd, and tenipuri (2x) and Kimi ni madoi on the 30th. Everyone hide your wallets.
Hi everyone! I'm the solo dev behind Fate’s Masquerade, an otome game inspired by my love of romance fantasy.
You play as a rather unhinged protagonist who enters the palace in search of the truth of your past, where you can harass, I mean impress, a cold prince renowned for his military prowess. Or play with fire by engaging with a scheming prince who is just as likely to fall in love with you as he is to kill you… Or maybe he’ll do both. At the same time.😨😏
Features Live2D animation, 8+ true endings, and plenty of surprising (and sometimes not so surprising) early deaths/endings.
The newly updated demo is available on Steam. Please see below for more details.
