STARCULT Night Twisted Age is a psychological horror romance about becoming the villainess everyone already believes you are. After your husband is murdered on your wedding night, investigate what happened while navigating dangerous relationships, cults, secrets, and nine potential romances.

At the center of the game is the Emotion Palette. Instead of simply choosing what to say, you choose how your character feels. Your emotional state changes the dialogue available to you, unlocking different ways to seduce, manipulate, deceive, intimidate, or confront the people around you, with up to 15 possible responses in some situations.

I need an advice for a great gaming laptop. I'm fine if it's very heavy. Laptop needed as a workstation replacement (3d + rendering and game testing). I'm on gaming acer for last 5 years, but i see that quality of latest models is not good. Any advice?

It's for work, so budget flexible. I need something I shouldnt update at least next 5 years.

csp 5.0 pc, windows + wacom

I recently switched/trying to from photoshop to clipstudio and i met a problem. I got so used to change brush and its size with right click >get menu with brushes + size change option.

Is there any plugin to simulate this type of menu? Any tips how to simulate brush groups too?

Instead, Hans is killed on their wedding night by an unknown monster, which devours half of his head. Silviya calls for a detective to investigate the crime.Meanwhile, she begins to be tormented by strange nightmares...

I'm Liliia, the creator of a visual novel game. There are five main leads, and choosing one of them will lead to a very different ending for Silviya. I created the art style and world-building, and I hope you find it interesting. One special feature of the story is that the main character can become quite powerful and villainous.

Where do you look for new games to play?

I hate how looks main page in the Steam, I'm tired to see on it for the last 10 years the same titles like battlefield, counterstrike, skyrim and etc. Personal Calendar is a nice thing and I'm using it. But I'm curios how others looking for new games?

Fx. I recently finished Zero Parades and its an amazing game, much better than Disco Elysium in terms of gameplay.

... I get to know about its release from their company layoff news in Lin this month. (It was released during spring)

I read gaming news, but I start to feel that media deliberately avoiding to talk about games with main female characters that weren't created to appeal male audience.

Ps. I know about studio's scandal, but on this game worked over 70 people and a lot of them worked on previous game too, they're victims of the situation.

Our demo launched to 3 people after I sold an apartment to fund PR

... to fund marketing and PR. (not all money went to it, but significant amount)

Early playtests were good; people actually liked the game(even non-target audience).

Every time we (my husband, two part-time contractors, and I) received feedback, we made improvements and kept iterating. The data showed it had potential, so I reached out to several PR and marketing agencies. As developers, we aren't marketers, and I physically cannot handle that part.(chronic migraines)

After hearing the prices, we decided to proceed with one agency. I convinced my husband to sell our apartment to cover the marketing and PR costs. They had a good track record with projects and we got recommendation from another indie dev company.

We didn't want to get coverage prematurely (negative feedback on a raw game), so after the global announcement, I felt like things were going as they should. Some micro-influencers and newspapers covered the game. Social media looked a bit quiet, but I felt it was just part of their plan to make a big push for the demo. To keep up with deadlines, I convinced my husband to leave his job in July, as the early numbers looked promising.

I started to feel uneasy, so I began doing some marketing myself, just in case. (It’s yielding decent results, but the budget I’m using is small since everything went to the agency).

We released the demo yesterday, and we had a maximum of 3 players simultaneously. Even student projects get more. It’s a horrible launch. If I had used paid ads for this budget, I could have shown the game to at least 2 million people. I feel just sad.

My editor told me, "You have to trust other people a bit less than 100%." I wish that lesson was less expensive.

+1 to devs tricked by PR and Marketing agencies.
