[The forgotten field] Ayla's pov from manhwa

Manhwa reader only: so this is from the manhwa's pov (They crucified Jesus for speaking the truth)

Your mother died and you got a new stepmother which your father cheat's with, she attended your mother's funeral too (that's painful if you ask me)

She removed everything related to your mother including the trees and flowers in the imperial garden (your home), so when her child walks in when you're still grieving you asked Varkas to make her go away from your only safe space (valid reaction) as she reminds you of your mother's suffering and the new empress cruelty (you're just a child). {This reaction makes you a target of Thalia's fans saying this is the core reason for her suffering & you need to take responsibility for it, even tho they excuse their grown babygirl trying to kill you with various reasons)

After you grew up you don't harbour any malicious thoughts about her. But she constantly hates you and wants you death,

  1. Her story starts with her one-sidedly beefing with you

  2. Poisoned you

  3. she wished for your death like every time she sees you.

  4. Wants to outshine you everywhere (especially in your ball) so she humiliate you in public by splashing wine on you + poisoning with laxative.

  5. wants to take your fiancé away.

  6. She thinks you're dressed provocatively when you're with YOU'RE fiance (even tho she herself dress maturely due to him).

  7. She throws a vase at you while you think she's an angel (from up high ml got injured because of that) cause she thinks being held by ml is her only privilege and how dare you not leave a special memory for her when you don't even know that memory of her's.

  8. Plans to kill you tho not successful, so you must thank her mother's scheme + ml's intervention for this( she's contemplating how to approach you, considering the aftermath if she failed to kill you, hid the knife and on her way towards your resting place). Fl is a potential murderer.

  9. she'll gladly give up her life if it means she got to kill you (this one-sided beef omg)

  10. wished it's you she scratch instead of your brother who physically harms her

11)She hates you more than your brother who harms her (tho in chinese saying she's courting death). From the moment of your mother's funeral she provoke your brother everytime to wear his reputation down to binder his secession to please her mother.

You are not wary of her. But you are wary of her mother who constantly scheme against you and your brother (you're brother is trash btw).

She also tries to off you by stabbing you and contemplate how to approach you.

How are you supposed to walk away from this when you also love the man she half the reason hates you for and the other reason is that she hates the way you look at her (not hatred...she liked the way your brother look at her with hatred, is she a masochist?) she constantly provokes the half-bro which most of the time leads him to strangle her yet keeps doing it + her not hating him as much as the Ayla who shows a kind face to her, look her with no hatred in her eyes & not scheming towards her

From plain manhwa pov the fl's obsession with killing her & her one-sided beef is too much. Ayla herself said fl is not threatening (so she didn't harbor bad to her) but to be on guard against the mother + the little prince (cause the mother will obviously use him)

If the novel didn't paint her as evil then this beef is really unfair to Ayla since it cause the fandom to hate her alongside the ml (another unjust hate)

Edit: the irony of Ayla being hated in the replies for being passive and not helping fl, the same fl who harms her & try to kill her. Not to mention for Ayla it's a fight for the throne, so why would she actively help one who hates her and drag her brother's reputation to hinder his path for succession. She'd be stupid if she help fl & I won't be making this post about her.

(The upvotes where they head canon Ayla as the reason for fl's core suffering due to her valid emotional outburst as a child) This fandom is doomed.

Oh Ayla! You got hated because the readers need a valid excuse for Thalia to hate you this much, so they head canon your villainy, living in the land of schizophrenia.

There's another rant downvoted down there so do check it out!!

Cross stitch of Bertia and Cecil (An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess)

As soon as I saw the anime OP with their little pixel versions I knew I had to! It’s been a long time since I’ve sat down for a project, so I used random thread I got from a kit a while ago.

Please don’t look too closely, I know a section has the stitches going the other way and by that point it was too late 🤣

Went for a Cold Duke of the North vibe

Don't know if this would be allowed here, but I recently changed my character in FFXIV and went for a cold duke of the north vibe with the armor and wanted to share.

[title] LF series where the villianess must learn the meaning of 'noblesse oblige'. Slowly.

Basically the title. Preferably not an Isekai.

I want a previously villainess girl learn about the world of the common folks and her responsibility over those beneath her.

[Fantasies of a step mother] already has her doing great after regression. But that is just noble drama, not about the duties to the common folks.

Don't want miss judged FLs or secretly good girls. No secretly talented in making perfect judgements

Just straight up bitches. And now they must learn they have certain powers as nobility.

With great powers comes great responsibilities.

But they must want to do better for her people.

We all want to stop seeing the same tired male lead. What things do you want to see more of?

The og post got taken down ╥﹏╥

Who do you think is the most lawful good FL and ML 🤔?

As I wrote in the title, who do you think is the most lawfully good FL and ML?

Feel free to discuss with each other too!

#For anyone wondering the meaning of lawful good:-

Lawful Good is a character moral alignment that combines a strict dedication to order, rules, and honor with a selfless desire to do what is right and help others.

Why do the female lead's brothers in shoujo manga never find a girlfriend or wife of their own?

It’s always the same: the female lead is the youngest and has two to four brothers; she grows up, dates, gets married, and has kids, while her brothers are just there, hovering around her like eternal virgin eunuchs.

If anyone knows the names of any good series that feature side romances involving the brothers, please post them in the comments.

I love their communication and expressions

If these fathers hate their daughters so much…

Why not just send them to live with a relative? Seriously. Your daughter “killed” your wife in childbirth, okay. You hate her and wish she’d never been born. Okay.

So just send her away to live with a relative. Don’t keep her home and let the house abuse her, and then act surprised when she grows up and shuts you out. Let someone from your tree claim ward ship. It’s not that hard. Is there a low risk of scandal? Yeah, but it really shouldn’t mean that much if your hatred for her runs so deep. It beats letting her grow up neglected.

It’s so simple. If you’re not gonna raise her, let a woman in your or your wife’s family raise her.

Marriage with a Suspiciously Demure Husband - a rare acknowledgement about using book knowledge for isekai investments!

Bonus panel - our gruff male lead pretending he's pretending to love his wife.

I forgot which Manhwa this is.

I remember a particular Manhwa I read long ago, a tipical isekai story that has a girl appear as a supporting character to a hero in a game(?), using her outside knowledge to assist the party and try to reach the end of the game.

However, after reaching the 'fake-out' ending that leads to a New Game Plus mechanic for the true ending, the protagonist is left behind by the hero in a cave where he is supposed to save her. Fortunately, the villain of the story, a knight who is fated to become the demon king (the true final boss), saves her.

The reasoning behind him saving her being that he knows something is up and he wants to use her knowledge to stop his slow transformation into the demon king.

I did try to google around and swap wording a little to see if the title was as close to the description as possible but I didn't find it. I would appreciate any recommendations that have a similar story concept or the very same manhwa that I am trying to find!
