IVF is such a racket

It’s honestly insane how expensive IVF is. I just feel like I’m being ripped off. My insurance is supposed to cover all after a certain threshold but there are always little things that “insurance doesn’t cover” and it ends up thousands and thousands of dollars that I have to pay out of pocket. I feel like the IVF companies and the insurance companies are not transparent about it, I’ve called insurance multiple times and have gotten multiple different answers about my coverage. The cost alone will take the wind out of my sails, already leading to bitterness. It’s all just so exhausting, and I’ve only done one round. It feels like people with infertility issues are being punished, it’s beyond anything reasonable.
