Just got it this AM... curious to hear the impressions of those who already have it. It is definitely different than the Kii, which admittedly is not one of my favorite IJN BBs.
I ran into the 1st one a few days ago in Standard...that driver just sat behind islands and spammed HE, and wasn't particularly good at it.
This could be either the ships you hate to play against or the ships you hate to play because they are utterly worthless garbage scows. I'll start:
TIII: Giussano. You'd think it would be better with the SAP. But it ain't. Ship I hate to play against? Knyaz Suvorov.
TIV: Montecuccoli. Hate to pick on the Italians here (their ships get much better at T5 and above), but this cruiser is a dev strike waiting to happen; soft as butter. Ship I hate to play against? Giulio Cesare.
TV: Hate to say this, because I have really tried to like this ship, but it has to be Leander. Maybe I just don't know how to play it properly, as I do much better for whatever reason with Devonshire. Ship I hate to play against? Hyuga, Dido.
TVI: Lugdunum. T6 has so many great BBs at the tier...this isn't one of them. I find nothing redeeming about this ship, compounded by the lack of decent commander choices. Ship I hate to play against? Resistance, WV '44.
TVII: AL Formidable, and it ain't even close. Numerous buffs, and it is still the worst CV at T7, and inferior to a lot of the T5 CVs. Ship I hate to play against? Chkalov, P.Bag.
TVIII: This was a tough one...but honestly speaking, it has to be Marlborough. Again, I have tried to like the ship and it just ain't working for me. Much prefer the Scarlet Thunder. Ship I hate to play against? Musashi/ARP Musashi, Big Wisky.
LT: I don't necessarily hate to play it, but the new San Martin seems to be by far the weakest cruiser at LT, and is a ship in serious need of a buff. Ship I hate to play against? Kremlin, Preußen, Napoli, Khabarovsk.
DISCLAIMER: I have all the ships I hate to play against, so I know how good they are. No one is trying to diss on your fav ship here...just IMO, my 2 kopecks.
It cracks me up every time I hear it. I've got a good collection of guises at this point...but this is one I really need to add, along with Popeye and Krang.
Anyone else notice this? When I go into ranked, both Warspite and Warspite B are there. Not complaining, as I was pretty much planning on playing Warspite most of the time, occasionally the Mutsu and DeGrasse.
But I am curious as to why Warspite B shows up, and ships like Graf Spee B and Mutsu B don't...
