Weighted Blanket issues
Hi, I'm having a bit of an issue, my current weighted blanket is well used and all the beads have migrated to the sides. As you can guess this makes it less useful for its intended purposes. The brand of the one I'm currently using is "Hypnoser", it's a polyester blanket with glass beads.
The issue that came up however, when I went to Amazon to order a new one, is that they seem to have been replaced? The website is down, so is the phone line. The blankets sold are very low quality. Beads don't even feel like beads and were kinda squeaky feeling. Fabric was also very rough, and the tag and packaging was wrong. I returned the blanket and tried to get a replacement, but the replacement was also another low quality fake. This time it included the piece of cardboard that's usually with the real blanket on the front of the plastic zip bag.
I am autistic and I'm having a really hard time finding a new brand to go to that's soft, but not fuzzy? I cannot deal with velvet like texture, and since I use it in the summer as well the furry ones are less useful. I prefer the glass beads as well because they don't have a weird resistance or squeak to them when I push against them. Twin sized blanket.
I ordered a "bare home" blanket off of Amazon, but the fabric is really rough in a way I'm not sure how much its going to soften up. Also was since it was lieing about the cotton content I was thinking to return it?
I'm not sure, I'm stressed out trying to find a replacement but nobody else around me uses them so I have no opinions to go off of. I can maybe go as high as $100? If people know/ use good ones?
