My Suggestion about HBTU
"If your rank is above 100k and you get Paint Engineering, that's alright. Otherwise, don't take admission or you'll regret it. Also, if you are coming only for placements, Chemical and Paint students are actually getting better placements than CS, IT, ME, and other top core branches.
If your mindset is, 'I want it no matter what,' then even a 3-4 lakh rank is considered good enough to get into HBTU. You can easily get into branches like Food, Bio, Plastic, Leather, or Oil. That's all from my side."
