is this too much information for a first chapter?

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zb4FXbLab0lTplZJFOSjKqhKD46wEnC8lcFEbvPhZbk/edit?usp=sharing

ive heard of new authors bombarding their reader with too much information, especially during the first few chapters or even pages of their book, and idk if im guilty of this. any advice is appreciated, related to the question or not!!

quick edit: no, this isn't the entire chapter lmao

i think the main thing im stressing about is that i don’t feel valid because of how non-noticeable my “switches” are (quotation marks cuz im not diagnosed). im aware, im always aware, but there’s times where im not in control at all. theres also times where i forget something, then remember forgetting. its so hard to explain.

just curious if anything else experiences this sort of thing

for those who are, how’d you get diagnosed? i want to talk to my therapist about this (im heavily doubting myself considering how complex this is plus how many other disorders it could be - or not at all), but i have no clue where to start.

how long did it take to get diagnosed? how did you bring it up? any advice? obviously don’t feel forced to answer all of these, im just curious !
