Questions about Rhinoceros beetles

So I was considering getting a Rhinoceros beetle and have been looking into it a bit, but I wanted to see if anyone who has kept them before has any tips or advice!

I have a few questions if anyone is able to answer them :)

  1. I'm aware Rhinoceros beetles are able to fly and it's best to let them do so at least once in a while, but what are the best ways to do this? I've seen people hold their male by the horn and gently tip and then move them downwards in order to let him fly on the spot as such, but are there any other or better ways to do this? And if you have a female there is no horn to hold so what's the best alternative in that case?

  2. The type I was hoping to get is a Mars Rhinoceros Beetle (Megasoma Mars) however by the time I'm able to get said beetle they may not be available, is the care for Rhinoceros beetles overall the same or similar, if not what are the key differences? Does the temperature and diet have to be altered a lot?

  3. I've been told that 45x30x30cm is at least the size their enclosure should be, but what would you recommend, I'm assuming something a bit bigger may be better though I'm unsure.

  4. As far as I'm aware the Larvae only require certain soil or substrates and decaying matter to an extent, but when do you know it is time to move them on in their diet exactly, are there any indications or do you essentially just have to keep a track of time?

  5. How can you tell if something is wrong with your beetle and if you discover the issue what's the best way to deal with it? I'm assuming most vets would have no experience with a beetle so what's the best you could do?

Any other info or experiences would be greatly appreciated too, thanks!
