Rouge H Kelly 25 from Li

I recently received this Rouge H Kelly 25 from Li.

Before deciding, I spent some time talking through the color, leather, and hardware because I wasn’t completely sure how the combination would feel in person. Li also shared a few extra photos, which helped me compare the overall look before I settled on this one.

Once I had it in hand, I mainly looked at the Sellier shape, the Box leather, stitching, edges, and hardware. The structure is very sharp, and the smooth leather gives the color a slightly deeper, more vintage feel than I expected.

The gold hardware also works really well with Rouge H. I thought it might make the bag feel too formal, but in person it feels warmer and more balanced.

This is my first Kelly in this exact combination, and so far I’m really happy with how it came together.

Timeline
Late July: Started discussing the color with Li
August 4–6: Settled on Rouge H
August 10: Received detail photos
August 17: Received the bag

PSP check — Garden Party Mini from Li

Li just sent over the PSP for this Garden Party Mini, and I’ve been going back through the photos before confirming.

I went with the canvas + leather combination because I wanted something lighter and more casual for everyday use. From what I can see, I like the overall shape and the soft grey tone, but I’m still paying attention to the handles, edge finishing, and how the canvas sits around the sides.

Would really appreciate any thoughts in case there’s something I’ve missed.

finally seeing it in person

I’ve wanted a deeper red B25 for a while, so this was one of those choices I spent way too much time thinking about.

My main concern wasn’t the shape — it was the color. Burgundy can look completely different depending on lighting, and every set of photos seemed to show a slightly different shade.

Timeline
Day 1: Started discussing the size, leather, and the deeper red tone I had in mind
A few days later: Narrowed it down after comparing a few options
Next stage: Received detailed photos and focused mostly on the front shape, handles, grain, and hardware placement
After that: Finally got to see the bag under normal indoor light

First impression
The color was the biggest surprise.

In photos it sometimes looked almost brown-red, but in person it reads much more like a deep wine shade. It shifts quite a bit depending on the light, which keeps the color from feeling flat.

Leather & structure

The grain is noticeable and gives the bag a nice amount of texture without making it look bulky.

I paid particular attention to the top line and side profile because those are usually the areas I notice first on this size. The structure feels balanced, and the handles look proportional to the body.

Stitching & hardware

I checked the stitching around the handles, straps, corners, and top edge. Nothing stood out visually, and the spacing looks consistent overall.

The silver hardware ended up being one of my favorite details. I originally wondered if warmer hardware would suit the burgundy better, but I like the contrast here. It gives the bag a cleaner, slightly cooler finish.

One thing I didn’t expect

I thought this would be more of an occasional color for me.

After seeing it with neutral clothes, I realized it doesn’t behave like a bright red at all. It almost works like a dark neutral, which was not what I expected at the beginning.

Final thoughts

This one took more back-and-forth than some of my other choices, mostly because I couldn’t get a clear sense of the color from photos.

Overall: 9/10
Color: 9.7/10
Details: 9/10
Communication: 9/10

The pink I almost talked myself out of

I almost talked myself out of choosing this pink.

I’ve always loved pink bags, but I hesitated for a long time because I wasn’t sure if a lighter shade would be practical enough for everyday use. I usually lean toward more neutral colors, so this was a little outside my comfort zone.

But every time I came back to this shade, I still loved it.

After looking at different options and thinking about the overall feeling I wanted, I finally decided on this Mini Kelly from Li.

Timeline:

July 21-23: Started discussing the style and color direction
August 4: Confirmed the final choice
August 12: Received the package

During the process, I shared the kind of feeling I was looking for — something soft, elegant, and easy to enjoy. We discussed the color direction and overall style before I made the final decision.

When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was the pink. It was softer and more beautiful than I expected. It has a delicate feeling without being too sweet, and the color looks very balanced in person.

The Mini Kelly size was also something I thought about for a while. It’s definitely small, but that’s what makes it special. The shape feels elegant and refined, while the size makes it feel more playful and easy to style.

What surprised me most is that the color I hesitated about at the beginning ended up being the one I couldn’t stop looking at.

I’m really glad I trusted my first feeling and gave this shade a chance.

Mini Kelly 19 Ostrich PSP — would love some opinions

Just received the PSP for this mini Kelly 19 from Li and wanted to get some opinions from the community.

I really like the colour and the ostrich texture. This is my first time looking at this type of leather, so I’m still learning which details are worth paying attention to.

Would appreciate any thoughts on the overall shape, texture placement, stitching and hardware details before I make the final decision. Thanks everyone for your help!

I didn’t expect a Toile Birkin to change my mind

I never thought I would choose a canvas Birkin.

For a long time, I always imagined my first Birkin would be a full leather piece. I loved the classic look of leather and honestly wasn’t sure if a canvas combination would give me the same feeling.

But this Birkin 25 slowly changed my mind.

Before making the decision, I spent quite some time comparing different styles. I kept going back and forth because I wasn’t sure if the canvas and leather combination would feel too casual, or if I would eventually regret not choosing a full leather version.

In the end, I decided on this Toile Birkin 25 from Li.

Timeline:

Early July: Started discussing the style and overall direction
Mid July: Confirmed the final choice
August: Received the package

During the process, I shared the style I was looking for and the details I cared about. We discussed different options before I made the final decision.

When I finally received it, the first thing I noticed was the balance.

The canvas gives the bag a lighter and more relaxed feeling, while the leather details keep the classic structure and elegance. The size is also something I really enjoy — Birkin 25 has a beautiful proportion that feels easy to carry while still keeping its iconic shape.

After using it for a while, I started to understand the appeal of Toile pieces. Compared with full leather bags, they have a different personality. They feel more effortless and relaxed, while still keeping that timeless charm.

It wasn’t the style I originally pictured myself choosing, but after spending time with it, I’ve come to appreciate what makes Toile pieces special.

This experience definitely changed the way I look at canvas pieces.
