I have a dentist appointment in hopefully the next month or so. I have a couple adult teeth that are very loose and I'm convinced I have periodontal disease. I've also grinded my teeth and clenched my jaw for about a decade due to severe anxiety. I have poor oral hygiene due to depression and lack of care from my parents, but am trying to get better!

Very anxious that i will need dentures and am looking for comfort :)

I'm a 16 year old high school student who's looking to get a part-time job within the next year. I'm also interested in volunteering for school community hours and just to get to know my community. Anyone know of some good places?

i'm the older (16F) sister of an autistic (6M) brother. i'm posting here for more of a vent than anything.

my parents were never married and seperated when i was around 3/4. i could get into it more if anyone wants but it was pretty bad. basically she cheated on him and then had a kid and is somewhat in a relationship with my dads uncle who went to prison for doing bad things to his stepdaughter.

my mother had my brother when COVID was just getting big. he was diagnosed with autism when he was around 2 and since then my life has gotten worse. my mother and i have never been close but our relationship is horrible now. i don't live with her and hardly ever speak with her other than when she bothers my dad about me.

my brother is nonverbal and acts like more of a 2 year old than a 6 year old. he's still in diapers and my mom has given up trying to potty train him. he's also still drinking from only bottles, and he watches TV all day long. i feel bad for him because he's in the house 24/7 and almost never gets outside. he doesn't go to school and my mom doesn't work and is on disability because of a bad back so she's always inside as well.

i know it's not at all his fault and i DO love him it's just hard sometimes.

this is more of a vent post than anything and i don't know if i even am a glass child, but i needed to get things off my chest because my mental health is shit because of it lol.
