Ants in living room
Hi thanks in advance for reading and maybe helping,
every year in spring around this time ants start crawling out from under the floor of my living room. They mostly try to crawl or fly towards the window.
I get the the flying ones going for the window but also the workers. i have a wooden floor and they come out from the space between the floor and wall.
Sometimes it can be kinda disgusting but mostly I don't mind ants i just would prefer them not being inside my living room. And i am also worried because i read they damage the house.
I tried bait traps so maybe the whole nest gets killed, sprays and laying out powder(sorry not native english)
They also don't go for food at least they haven't for now when i forgot something laying around.
What type are they, do they damage the house, what do they feed on because i read some eat mold and any tips on removing them permanently?
