Question about “0 day waiting period”
Today my girl was admitted to the hospital after chewing up an partially ingesting a television power cord (nobody to blame but myself, please save me the guilt I already am beating myself up with).
I am prepared for pay for the hospital stay/imaging/labs. However I am unsure if I am financially prepared for a bowel obstruction surgery (5k or more)
I see some insurance policies have next day coverage for emergencies. While this would not cover her hospital stay obviously, if they decide after the observation period tomorrow to do surgery, would it be covered tomorrow if I got coverage tonight?
