Peeing issue
Hello all, I am writing this on behalf on my girlfriend who has been having a peeing issue. She has occasional issues where she gets the urge to pee that is accompanied by flank pain, and she often does not make it to the bathroom in time and pees her pants. This has happened on enough occasions where I am starting to get concerned. Her pcp chalked it up to sex, or stress but I just feel like it is starting to affect her everyday life with no solution. We thought it might be a UTI, but she said she doesn’t really have a burning sensation when she does pee. We thought it could be sex, but we noticed she would be incident free after sex but then have an incident after a week of no sex so I feel like it can’t be related. Then I thought she didn’t drink enough water, which was causing flank pain, but she said she has been really good with staying hydrated recently. She doesn’t trim her pubic hair often, so I was thinking maybe bacteria could get trapped in the moist environment but I am not sure because she said she doesn’t have any burning during urination. She also started wearing more breathable underwear but I have not noticed much change.
It doesn’t help that she is not very good at describing things so it really makes it hard to determine what is going on. All I know is that I feel like peeing ur pants is definitely not normal and seems concerning that it is happening so frequently. I was hoping to get some answers from you guys, I know I probably didn’t describe it the best so I will try my best to clarify any questions and rediscuss with her what exactly goes on.
